WITNESSING FOR THE WORD

 

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

 

The first thing the Holy Spirit does when it comes upon you is to empower you and get your mind fortified so that there’s nothing you will face in this journey that will cause you to backslide. That is why every genuine child of God should always cry for the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is the source of enablement and empowerment of the mind and heart of a believer.

In this journey, you will meet with betrayers, you will meet with people whom you never believe could disappoint you, you will meet with people who will eat your bread, drink your water and turn against you such that if the Holy Ghost does not empower and strengthen your mind; you may faint. But when the Holy Ghost empowers your mind it’s  forward ever and backward never.

What does it mean to be his witness?

Standing to tell the court of law in the world that Jesus is the one who sent you, he’s the same Yesterday, today and forever and that you are a witness to his healing ministry. It’s rather unfortunate that the church does not get her priorities right. God representatives have disappointed the witnessing of God in our world, head of Ministries are not defending Christ and His word any more. That is why He is calling you today to become his witness and representative effectively here on earth.

It is very crucial to know that Sin is a bribe the devil uses to bribe us from witnessing the word of God. Sin is a bribe from the devil to close our mouth so that you can’t stand tall to say Jesus can heal, Jesus can serve. When you receive his bribe your mouth is shut. Therefore restrict yourself from sinful lifestyle so as to be able to witness for the Word (Jesus).

 

MEDITATION: The scripture contains all the answers to my prayer.

PRAYERS:

  1. I break every power hindering me from witnessing the manifestation of the word in me in the name of Jesus.
  2. I break the curse of non- profit word from my life and family in the name of Jesus.

EATING THE WORD

 

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16 

A great philosopher made this statement “Man is what he eats” meaning you act in line with what you eat, for a example, someone who has taken a good measure of alcohol is most likely to behave accordingly.  Now if you eat the word; you would express the word. if you go close to someone who has taken enough alcohol the individual is likely to smell what he has taken.

Similarly, when you eat the word; you smell the word and grow by the word. So your physical, mental and spiritual growth is tied to what you eat per-time.

Let’s take another example; if you are following a particular Author by reading his book, at a point unknown to you, you start talking the way that man talks even when you have not met him face to face.

Also, if you listen to someone message consistently over a period of time, your spirit will begin to feed on his word and before you know it; you see yourself acting the way he acts, behaving the way he behaves because you are eating his word. So when you eat God’s word you act the way God acts.

The word of God must be swallowed during bible study, devotional etc. The word you eat is medicinal in every aspect and dimension such that at any level or age if taken should have no side effect and if it is administered raw you may be able to swallow.  By swallowing the word of life, everything that has tied you down their chains and padlocks are broken in the name of Jesus.

 

MEDITATION: the word came as flesh to pay the price for me, therefore am not indebted to sin

PRAYERS:

  1. By the blood of Jesus, I break every power that wants to hinder the word from working in me in the name of Jesus.
  2. I break the power of spiritual ignorance in the mighty name of Jesus.

And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
There are people who seek God and can’t find him because they have not gotten to the level of searching for him with the whole of their heart.
Many things come to our heart to compete for attention as a result of what we are hearing- There’s no good news from the news paper or television and they have the capacity to take your place of searching for the Lord with the whole of your heart.
You need the right word that can take care of both your situation and you in person. Because sometime the word might handle your situation but your emotions and lifestyle remain the same.
Sometimes after jumping over a particular situation, you see yourself falling back to the same thing because your lifestyle, your thought pattern, your decision making skill, your will power etc. are not kept under check. When challenges are handled by the Word; your emotions ought to be under control too.
John 5:39. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
MEDITATION: The spirit of the word in me is fighting for me that I may hold my peace.
PRAYERS:
1. Every condition that wants to shift my attention from the word expires in the name of Jesus.
2. Every hindrance on the path of my word is uprooted in the name of Jesus.

SUNDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2020

TOPIC: SEEKING THE WORD

 

And when they had found him, they said unto him, All [men] seek for thee. Mark 1:35-37 

Your purpose in life makes all men go about looking for you. All men including your enemies are looking for you though they may pretend when they see you, but they can’t deny the fact that you carry the solution to their problems as well as answer to their questions. They know without you they can’t survive, so don’t mind their action when they see you, continue living your purpose.

And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive (Jeremiah 29:14).

As human, you may not know what God is planning for you, if you cannot pray for yourself at the moment do well to keep calm because the Lord is thinking and planning a better you tomorrow, don’t kill yourself in that condition, you will come out of it strong and unshaken in Jesus name.

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you (Luke 12:31)

 

O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is(Psalm 63:1-3 )

Do not wait until something happens before you seek him but rather seek Him early.

Psalm 119:2.Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, (the word of God) [and that] seek him with the whole heart.

From this moment the power of your tongue shall be stronger than the power of the tongue of your enemies. When they rise up against you in judgment, you will rise up to counter or condemn their evil tongue. Do not hesitate in seeking the word.

 

MEDITATION: The anointing of the Lord in me makes all men seek me as solution to their problems.

PRAYER:

  1. Every curse from any evil pastor, prophet or prophetess over my life is broken by the word of God.
  2. Every familiar spirit assigned to monitor the movement of God over my life and destiny be broken in Jesus name.

(Our help comes from the Lord)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

 

God does not create anyone helpless; helplessness comes when you refuse to acknowledge God as your refuge and strength.

The help of God is constantly available because in life if you put your trust in man, you will be highly disappointed.

 

The word of God gives you safety in the midst of life’s challenges.

God desires to keep you safe, and the best way for Him to accomplish that is to He wants you to be secured in knowing He loves you, cares for you, provides for you and protects you.

 

Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up (Isaiah 50:9)

When you study and meditate on God’s word, He opens your spiritual eyes enabling you to see Him as the manufacturer and distributor of help.

 

The promises of men can be disappointing when you really needed the help. Men are good at wanting to know what you are passing through by asking you how you are fairing but without rendering any attachment of help.

 

If there is something you needed to do, there is no need wondering for the support of man. The Lord is a reliable source of help in times of trouble. His help enables you live supernaturally to His glory.

 

MEDITATION

The Excellent help of the Lord is functioning in me

 

PRAYERS

1. Lord thank you for energizing me with your help.

 

2. Today, may I come in contact with help that will speed up my movement to my destiny in the name of Jesus.

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. (Eze. 21:21-22)

 

Road junctions seem to be part of the location formulas and calculations for the perpetuation of evil manipulations. Wherever you find divination, you will find enchantment and witchcraft work aimed at weakening the land, souls, family, business and community spiritually and physically. There are kings set over your destiny, who go to road junctions to oppose what God has created you to be in life.

 

When the devil is out to hunt someone, saying “I am innocent” is not important, destinies are not recovered by saying “God forbid” but by accepting the realities and dealing with it through the power that proceeds from the word of God.

 

The word of God in you causes you to appear in front of your enemies and accusers with God’s divine endorsement where your words become an extension of the voice of God and for this reason, when you speak, nature obeys you.

 

You become a wonder to your generation by frustrating every work of darkness around you by reason of the power of God walking through you.

 

MEDITATION:

The word of the Lord has brought me out of evil enchantment.

 

PRAYER:

1. O’ Lord, deal with what is dealing with me in the mighty name of Jesus.

 

2. By the blood of Jesus, Every stigma that any evil agent has placed on my destiny, be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus.

UNDERSTANDING THE POTENCY OF THE WORD OF GOD

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerned of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)
We understand the potency of the word by understanding the nature of the word. The Word is God Himself. The word of God is a living entity. It comes with the characteristics of living things. It is alive like the seed and everyone who receives the word; receives life –a kind of life Adam and Eve had before the fall.
You cannot separate the Word from the Spirit. The Word serves as a transformer (Act. 2:4). It serves as a platform for the Spirit to operate. The word of God is a heavy force that hit the living hope through a living faith.
A dead faith is a dangerous one; -that was the type of faith Sampson had. Dead faith sets up the carrier. The Word is the faith booster and fertilizer. The word of God is the ultimate source of power among all the sources of power. The Word is older than our experience.
Don’t struggle to become what your neighbor wants you to become through ungodly and unhealthy competition. If you don’t know where you are going; wastage’s are unavoidable. Absolute lack of self awareness is the ultimate form of foolishness that has no cure except by the word of God which is the source of intelligence.
Understanding creates a high level of distinction between you and others. Wisdom is only found in the word of God and men and women of wisdom are powerful people.
MEDITATION:
The word of God in my mouth is my manual for success.
PRAYER:
1. I come against every spirit of forgetfulness that wants me to lose memory of the word of God from my mouth in the name of Jesus.
2. I decree that nothing shall hinder the word of God from accessing my heart in the mighty name of Jesus.

DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF DEFILEMENT

 

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. (HEB.12:15-16)

 

Defilement is the act of making something impure or dirty. It is synonyms with contamination and pollution.

Defilement of the body through food, fornication, adultery, slandering, murdering or any other means leads to the frustration of the purpose of God over the individual. It gives the devil the chance to step with valid points of accusation that may hinder the manifestation of the will of God in the life of the victim.

 

The spirit of the Lord may be ministering to you to take out time and fast but they devil will look for so many ways to hinder you not to fast or pray at that particular moment, what he does is to bring food your way and it will make you to feel like dying if you don’t eat at that particular moment just to hinder you from accessing the miracle and blessings of heavenly deposits.

You have to understand that the hunger of one week will not kill you, but God is training you to understand that you have something that neither food nor money can buy.

Don’t just change because of an unnecessary challenge. JESUS came as 100% man and 100% God and as such He also experienced what we experience today but yet He didn’t allow Himself to be defile.

 

 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain (Gal.2:21)

 

MEDITATION:

The word of God in me has sanctified me for the manifestation of glory.

 

PRAYER:

  1. I declare divine exemption from every form of defilement towards my destiny in Jesus name.
  2. Lord, I speak restoration over every aspect of my destiny that was destroyed by reason of my mistakes in the name of Jesus.

BE A GOOD FOLLOWER

 

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Heb.6:12)

 

It is important to study and understand the lives of those who succeeded in the kingdom , because they have succeeded in creating a pathway of faith and patience in a way that most of the things we pass through in life is not compare to what they went through yet they still hold on to their faith and became victorious.

 

They are may people who prayed saying God of Abraham, God of Isaac visit me, yet they don’t want to follow after the obedience and commitment of Abraham and Isaac, by carefully imitating the kingdom lifestyle they exhibit that make them to arrive at the final destination of inheriting the promises of God.

 

The Bible contains character of people who demonstrated high level of faith in the word of God, the word of God contains word of faith that generate patience to endure and be purpose driven.

 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;  So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure. (2 Thess.1:3-4)

 

Faith and patience helps you to fulfill Purpose which is the essence of your life and that is why God gave you salvation.

 

MEDITATION:

The lord has enlightened my faith to follow Him patiently.

 

PRAYER:

  1. Every spirit of pride be consumed by Holy Ghost Fire in Jesus name.
  2. O’ Lord equip me with your word in the mighty name of Jesus.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (Deu.18:10-11)

Until you have a revelation about yourself that tally with the mind of God for you, you may be running from one church to another without being delivered. Until God reveals the works of evil consultant to you and grant you wisdom and understanding not to weary but to continue steadfastly in prayers and in studying the word so as to frustrate the plans of evil consultants’ over you.

Things that evil people consult:

1. They consult human beings
2. Witches and wizards
3. Witch doctors etc.

To get information, sometimes people run to places for help without knowing that those places they run are actually agents of their source of problems who helps in intensifying the problem than providing problem.
They consult River (Marine witches and wizards): this is where some people are sold to water spirit and their destinies are being transfer from the earth to the marine world.

They consult serpentine kingdom.
They consult evil prophets; it is not every prophet that is actually godly, most of them are evil agents who disguised themselves as angel of light. You have to be extremely careful of whom you run to for prayers.
God has unveils to you the path of life, that you may start having solutions to complex problems with ease, in your environment, community, church and office.

MEDITATION:
My life is hidden in Christ, I am covered in Him.

PRAYER:
1. Lord, expose every evil consultant in my family tormenting my destiny in Jesus name.
2. I retrieve every of my information that was in the possession of evil consultant in Jesus name Amen.
