DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF DEFILEMENT
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. (HEB.12:15-16)
Defilement is the act of making something impure or dirty. It is synonyms with contamination and pollution.
Defilement of the body through food, fornication, adultery, slandering, murdering or any other means leads to the frustration of the purpose of God over the individual. It gives the devil the chance to step with valid points of accusation that may hinder the manifestation of the will of God in the life of the victim.
The spirit of the Lord may be ministering to you to take out time and fast but they devil will look for so many ways to hinder you not to fast or pray at that particular moment, what he does is to bring food your way and it will make you to feel like dying if you don’t eat at that particular moment just to hinder you from accessing the miracle and blessings of heavenly deposits.
You have to understand that the hunger of one week will not kill you, but God is training you to understand that you have something that neither food nor money can buy.
Don’t just change because of an unnecessary challenge. JESUS came as 100% man and 100% God and as such He also experienced what we experience today but yet He didn’t allow Himself to be defile.
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain (Gal.2:21)
MEDITATION:
The word of God in me has sanctified me for the manifestation of glory.
PRAYER:
- I declare divine exemption from every form of defilement towards my destiny in Jesus name.
- Lord, I speak restoration over every aspect of my destiny that was destroyed by reason of my mistakes in the name of Jesus.
