TOPIC: GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU
“The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, [so] shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24)
Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). When God created man, He did the creation last, on the sixth day.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:26-27).
He took time to form man from the dust of the earth, so the best way to handle life’s problems, is to look away from them and focus on your creator. He is able to turn your affliction around for His glory.
What are the plans God has for you?
To make you the head and not the tail. “And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them” (Deuteronomy 28:13).
Your condition is not your conclusion. Joseph went from the pit to the prison and then to the palace (Genesis 37:18-24, Genesis 39:19-20, Genesis 41:38-45)
To Sustain You. (Matthew 6; 25-28 & 34). If God can feed the birds of the air, therefore take no thought for tomorrow, for He will supply all that you need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
God told Elijah to go to the brook, to be fed by a raven. The brook dried up after some time, but Elijah did not complain (1 Kings 17:7-9).
God made provision for him as He (God) commanded the widow of Zarephath to sustain him.
N/B: If a man has failed you, God can make another way for you, so don’t be discouraged.
To make crooked places straight. “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron” (Isaiah 45:2).
He says he will go before you. To go before you means:
He will correct crooked things and straighten them out for you.
He will break in pieces the gate of brass. He will go before you to defeat your enemies, by breaking down their source of security.
The Lord will cut asunder the bars of iron to which the gates were fastened. Whatever force is standing between you and the purpose of God, He will fight for you and you shall hold your peace. (Exodus 14:14)
To make you fruitful and purposeful, God wants you to be in health and be free from affliction, having abundant prosperity (3 John 1:2). God cannot have you in mind and you are suffering in lack, shame, demotion, etc You are supposed to experience all round fruitfulness.
MEDITATION:
Sound health, riches, and prosperity of my soul are God’s plan for me.
PRAYERS:
1. Abba Father, I command every form of barrenness released against me to dry up by fire in Jesus name. Amen.
2. Abba Father, in the name of Jesus whatever wants to subvert my headship let their gimmicks expire by fire in Jesus name.
