TOPIC: DON’T LOOK BACK 5
“”Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” (Hebrews 12:15-16)
Note that having an unbelieving heart towards God, His house and His servant makes a believer to be fooled by the deception of sin. It makes his heart available to easily believe that one can live life anyhow.
Our Birthright is rest and peace of mind. Act 20:32. Our birthright is the word that can keep you going when the going is tough. God is not a game player. He gives us the assurance in John 14:1-3.
Don’t allow anything to distract you, nothing lasts forever except the word of God and the kingdom’s spiritual content which is righteousness, peace, and joy.
Don’t sell your joy when you see a 16 years old boy cruising a machine worth millions of Naira and you are a graduate without a house having been working for years.
You need the joy of the Lord to keep you from joining ‘yahoo boys’ to steal people’s wealth. Some of you make them your role model.
You need the joy of the Lord to know that He makes all things beautiful in his time.
MEDITATION:
I am a beloved child of God.
PRAYER:
1. The joy and peace of the Lord shall not depart from me in Jesus name.
2. Abba father, I sincerely desire an all round prosperity so help me God in the name of Jesus.
