TOPIC: DON’T LOOK BACK 6
“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” (Hebrews 12:15-16)
When you lose your kingdom birthright of joy and peace with your brethren, you automatically become a hopeless believer and a hopeless believer is a dangerous believer.
Some people branch Church and after a short while, they begin to complain that God does not bless them. God is a God of principle. Check the lives of people who are rich outside God. What they do in the secret will shock you.
When your hope in Christ is taken away, your faith begins to dwindle. When your faith is no longer productive, you can’t get anything from God.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Do the needful. Seek him diligently, not at convenience.
Our birthright is the honorable and prestigious placement in God; God looks at us as kings. You are not cheap because you have been called out of darkness into his marvelous light.
MEDITATION:
I am a royal priesthood.
PRAYER:
1. My Maker, give me the grace to retain my birthright in Jesus name.
2. Abba Father, I silence every condition attempting to take my hope away from God in Jesus.
