For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. (Mark 4:25)
Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, [even] empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought [the vessels] to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, [There is] not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. (2kings4:1-7)
The woman did not know that the bottle of oil could bring her out of problem. The man of God said use those your two children and start borrowing vessels don’t borrow few but borrow many. She never knew that the little thing she had could change her story. She did not pour the oil in faith but in obedience. Close the door before mockers will come and mock. When the oil saw that the container had finished the oil stopped. Until a national or global pressure arises we might not know the value of what we have. Lord don’t blame us if we don’t know that what we have is important, since we don’t know that this thing is important don’t allow someone to steal it, because what will happen will look for what we have.
No body steal the little thing God has given to us because a time comes when those things will be needed.
In Exodus 14: 15-16, Moses contemplating on what to do God said lift up the rod. Moses never believed that rod would have power over the red sea. It turned water into blood, brought thick darkness over Egypt. The jurisdiction of the rod was in Egypt but Moses never knew the rod could be useful outside Egypt.
MEDITATION:
God did not create me empty because I am the beauty of God’s creation.
PRAYER:
1. My father my maker in the name of Jesus I receive quick understanding from the Word of God to know that without obedient to my Prophet’s counsel my prosperity wouldn’t be established.
2. My creator, help me to deep myself again for an uncommon manifestation in the order of Neman in Jesus name.
