THINGS THAT CAN HELP SUBMISSION TO WORK

And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.( Genesis 16:5-9)

Submission means surrendering yourself for proper upbringing. Purposely submitting yourself and following Godly counsel. There are things that will help us to submit wholly to Godly counsel and divine directions.

1. Be truthful to yourself and to God Psalm 15:2, Psalm 101:7-8. Truthfulness: being upright.

2. Honour God. God honour those who honour Him. It will help the submission to be stable in you. He honours those who honour his servant. Have respect for those who fear God.

3. Honour God with your substance and with the first fruit of all thy increase. Be planted and be rooted in the house of God Psalm 92:13-14 Psalm 92:13-14 “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing” don’t be a wanderer. Be a sheep and not a dog or goat in the kingdom.

4. Avoid the company of forgetters and ingrates.

A.) Forgetters are fools. Psalm 14:1; Psalm 53:1.

B.) They are corrupt and they corrupt good morals 1 Cor. 15: 33

C.) They lack word of knowledge. Prov.14:7. Proverbs 14:7 “Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not [in him] the lips of knowledge”

D.) They are deceitful people Proverbs 26:4-5 “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit”.

I submit to the Lordship of Jesus and His kingdom Authorities.
