GO BACK AND SUBMIT YOURSELF

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.( Genesis 16:6-10)

May you not use your hand and bring trouble to your house. Hagar despised her mistress when she saw she had conceived. You don’t need to run away go back to the authority and submit. Just like the angel said to Hagar “return to thy mistress and submit thyself under her hands”.

Submission is a virtue, it is a character and It is a seed. It means submitting to nations. You can develop it as a character.

Submission means to bend for you to be instructed guided, guarded, and corrected.

What role does submission place in our life?

1. Submission helps you to control your behavior. It disciplines your character. Lack of submission makes you behave unwisely. Deut. 8:10-18

2. Submission makes you to be kind and humble Genesis 16:1-10. It is the humble that will be raised in the kingdom. Ephesians 4:32, Gal 6:10, Provb 22:4. Rom 12:3. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. (KJV). Forgiveness is not stupidity.

3. Submission helps you to remain in your calling. Lord knows where he picks every one of us. But lack of submission makes us forget where he picks us. It makes us start crossing the bounding when there is no submission. Submission helps me to remain in my calling and purpose.

4. It helps you to accommodate, tolerate, Condon, and forbear one another. It helps you see posterity and its accompanied blessing and promotions. Tolerance does not mean overlooking flimsy miss behaviors of people around you. It means correcting them and still accepting them. Eph 4:2.
