TOPIC: THE RESULT OF DIVINE OPPOSITION

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!(ISAIAH 14 12)
The proud will always meet with opposition which eventually will lead to their downfall. When divinity is angry with a person, servant or leader the following happens
1. A fall from the place of honor to a place of dishonor. Your character, your life style commands respect but when you fall that respect is taken from you.
2. A cutting down to the ground forcefully because he refused to fall down. Fall down does not mean falling to the ground but total surrender to higher authority.
The statement of projection from the proud as seen in Isaiah 14: 13; For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
a. I will rise above the Elohim. It is always no reverence of any kind.
b. Ungodly desire to sit above where God has placed him. He intended to receive worship. Many Personal assistants today have led themselves into doom desiring the worship of their leaders especially in the Christendom.
c. Ambition to share in the glory of the creator
d. I will ascend above the light of the cloud. Self uplift and promotion. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.(Isaiah 14:14) Why did the devil allow this pride to enter him. This could be clearly seen in Ezekiel 28:11-15. don’t allow you talent and your make to destroy you
MEDITATION:
The Word of God is my guide I will not allow my heart to deceive me.
PRAYER:
1. Every enticement dragging me to destruction I repent now and plead the blood of Jesus for mercy.
2. I break loose from all forms of opposition to authority either by hereditary or by pervasion in Jesus name.
