LEADERSHIP AND SACRIFICE

TOPIC: LEADERSHIP AND SACRIFICE

SUNDAY 7TH NOVEMBER 2021

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:23-24) (KJV)

A leader is seen as a steward or a manager. One who must be able to manage ones heart and time. If you must manage yourself well then sacrifice is necessary. Nobody forces you to fall, it’s a deliberate decrease for Jesus to increase for me to decrease. There lies the lowest depth that climbs the highest height. The level of your submission determines your height in life.

Until you die to your natural being you cannot serve God sacrificially. Those who always seek for readymade will be made unready. Sacrifice entails readiness to fall into the ground: you project Christ and hide behind him. When it is comes up it will be seen as seedling. It also means readiness to be dropped into the ground: don’t seek special recognition because it brings special problem.

Sacrifice has to do with total submission: submission to God and God’s word. James 4:6.

Loyalty to vision, availability, punctuality, and sacrifice. Submission is birth forth by the spirit of humility and meekness. Absence of humility and meekness create an opportunity for the spirit of pride to invade. The proud will always meet with opposition.

MEDITATION: The word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light to lighten my path.

PRAYERS:

1 Every foundational manipulation and trait that manifest in me to force me to my destruction be uprooted and destroyed by the blood of Jesus.

2 Whatever force that has vowed that I will labour and not see result in the name of Jesus, let their throne, altar, and palaces with its wicked king and queen and their princes catch fire fall down and die in Jesus name.
