TOPIC: THE ELEVENTH HOUR MIGHTY WORKS
And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing [him] were astonished, saying, From whence hath this [man] these things? and what wisdom [is] this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? (Mark 6:2)
Anywhere human beings are, mighty works are needed. Anyone who feels he does not need mighty works (miracles) must be somebody without goals and aspirations in life. When God is out to do mighty works, He specializes on things that people say it’s impossible. Without the help of your family, mighty works of the Lord shall be found in your life. Without them, you can make it.
Mighty works are supernatural occurrences brought about by the power of God.
And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city [is] pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water [is] naught, and the ground barren. And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought [it] to him. And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren [land]. So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake. (2 Kings 2:19-22)
Mighty works are miraculous events that are contrary to human logic and reasoning. That is the reason the unexpected can take place when the Lord steps in. It comes when every hope is gone.
MEDITATION:
Henceforth, there shall be no more death or barrenness in my life.
PRAYERS:
1. Lord, I need the 11th hour mighty works in the name of Jesus.
2. Abba Father, create for me a miraculous event that is contrary to human logic in Jesus name.
