TOPIC: DON’T LOOK BACK 3
And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere. (Luke 9:6)
Avoid being under pressure for anyone or anything. It’s high time we stop borrowing the vocabulary of unbelievers.
“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” (Hebrews 10:38-39)
Keep the holy flame burning. We have a God whose love for humanity does not fade. Love that is void of hypocrisy.
Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”
An outpouring dimension of love that does not fade. It is the love that encapsulates the entirety of our being which keeps us restless until we show forth his glory, honour and power. Mark 12:10
Love compelled Jesus to cry out his all saying “It is finished”. That shed blood was for the remission of sin. He loves us so much that He accepted all the false accusations without argument.
It was love that drove him to Pilate, before him, he said nothing for our sake.
MEDITATION:
The love of God encapsulates the entirety of my being.
PRAYER:
1. I cannot continue to go through the process without embracing the promise in Jesus’ name
2. Abba Father, help me to obey you to attract your showers of blessings in Jesus’ name.
