And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?( Luke 18:3-8)
Never you give up on God when God is not through with you. Never you run faster than God because he is the author and finisher of our faith.
Luke 18:6-7 “And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” though it might appear it takes time. Though it does not come like magic. Though it might appear as if God does not hear. God is not deaf, God is not blind, God is good, God loves you though he bears long. Sometimes He bears long to see the content of your heart, sometimes he bears long to see what will be your reaction, and also to see if you will start running up and down to witch doctors. You must persevere.
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ( Luke 18:8) never the less God will answer you.
Nevertheless, the day God will open the gate and the doors will He still find you in faith or you will be so offended with God, you will be so offended with your prophet or your church? This is the voice of Calvary. Shall he find you in the same active faith? Shall He find you in the mode of believing? Shall He find you rejoicing and keep trusting God? Shall He find you in your duty post? Will he still be your Lord of Lords because you have no alternative? Where else can we go if God does not help us. It is too late to go back to the world. God is still God forever. For they that call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
MEDITATION:
I chose to remain in the faith for the crown of life awaits them that follow to the end.
PRAYERS
1. Oh Lord may I be found faithful to receive answers to my prayers in faith in Jesus name.
2. My father and my Maker every anxiety and ungodly advice that want to lead me into destruction I resist you today in Jesus name and I depart from the way of destruction so help me God.
