And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all [thy] children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he [was] ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to.
And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this [is] he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.(KJV) 1 Samuel 16:11-13
The voice of the Lord told Samuel this is my choice, this is the one. In the midst of his brethren the one who was not at home, the most unlikely person.
This is the one is an expression of God’s choice which is superior to human arrangement.
Jesse and the wife may have arranged that the first born according to the Jewish custom and culture, that the first born was entitled to a double portion of the father’s inheritance but in this case tradition was set aside, religious setting was abolished. Not because David lobbied, not because David bribed anybody.
There is someone you cannot bribe, there is someone your enemy cannot bribe, His name is Jehovah Nduehe, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah El-shadai, Jehovah Adonai. No native doctor can bribe him, no altar can bribe him against you.
David was in the bush, an arrangement was made when the prophet arrived, nobody remembered him, but God has a plan that cannot be twisted or manipulated by witchcraft powers, by household wickedness. Am sent to announce to you that God’s plan for your life shall surely come to pass. No devil can stop it, no prophetic mistake can stop it no prophetic ignorance can stop it. No prophetic blindness can stop it.
No prophetic deafness can stop it. Samuel was a prophet highly honor by God the bible says none of his word ever fell to the ground. But in this case Samuel could not see, Samuel, could not hear, Samuel could not have a prophetic intuition because he was over taken by what he saw. I came to announce to you, you may not look like their choice, but you are God’s choice.
MEDITATION:
I am God’s elect through the blood of Jesus and am entitled to life of abundance in Christ Jesus.
PRAYERS:
1. Abba Father daddy, every star that has been shinning before I was born and want to steal my star and shine, fall, fall, fall, fall and break in the name of Jesus.
2. Every star that has been shinning and want to prevent the stars of Wonderworld Capsules from shinning, fall in Africa, fall in Antarctica, fall in Australia, fall in Europe fall, in the entire universe, fall into the deep sea, fall into the mighty ocean, die in the name of Jesus.
