TOPIC: THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS 4
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” (Philippians 2: 9-10)
The power in the name of Jesus is the power that brings salvation to all men. “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” Matthew 1: 21.
Since you belong to Jesus, you are empowered to rule over sin. Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace”
As long as you are in this world, you will still be hearing strange voices trying to lure you to commit sin. But you would not do it because you are now a new creation. John 3:1-13
It is the power that generates the presence of God. Matthews1:23
While cooking in your kitchen, be happy. Be happy so that you can attract the presence of God to ensure that no strange cook comes to cook with you because of anger. To also ensure that the food is multiplied and free from poison.
The presence of God turns every opposition to your advantage. David understood this therefore he prayed that the sun shall not smite him by day. ” What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
The Bible commonizes everything that tampered with your glory and identity. They are referred to as things. If God be for us no man, no marine spirit, no witch or wizard can be against us.
The presence of God releases healing power from heaven
“And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought [means] to bring him in, and to lay [him] before him. And when they could not find by what [way] they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with [his] couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee” (Luke 5:18-20).
Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of sin which means that sin was the cause of the sickness called palsy. By the power operational in the name of Jesus, receive your liberty.
MEDITATION:
Healing and deliverance is my banquet.
PRAYER:
1. The Sun shall not smite me by day; nor the Moon by night in the name of Jesus.
2. The power in the name of Jesus, turn every opposition to my advantage in Jesus name.
