THE PLACE OF THE BLESSING
TUESDAY 7TH JUNE 2022
And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. 1Chronicles 4: 9-10
Every man and woman needs the Jabez blessing for a prosperous life. You need the hand of the Lord to keep whatever you have, otherwise it will be scattered. The blessing of the Lord makes rich and it adds no sorrow. The blessing of the Lord is a ground softener. It softens the ground and makes it easy for cultivation. When you are into any trade that is the land. It forbids laboring on hard and unproductive grounds of life. Genesis 26:1-12.
The blessing of the Lord turns arid places around you to fertile land. The strength of dryness is destroyed by the hand of the Lord. The strength of aridity is destroyed at the instance of the blessing. Isaiah 1:18
THE PART BLESSINGS PLAYS IN YOUR LIFE AND DESTINY
• It empowers you for gradual steady and unstoppable (blessings) progress. The blessing does not permit stagnation. Gen. 26:13-14
• It carries resistance against your enemies. It is the force that opposes your opponent. It makes them to stumble and fall. Psalm 27:2
• The blessings guarantee peace, any prosperity that takes away your peace is not of God. John 14:27. As God prospers you He releases the blessings of peace. The kingdom in view is the kingdom of God. Peace is one of the component of this kingdom. Rom. 14:17
• Satan can give prosperity but at the expense of your peace. Whatever Satan gives lacks the strength for peaceful longevity. What our God does and give Lasts long. There is durability, longevity and continuity.
MEDITATION:
The word of God delivers me from embracing poverty out of ignorance.
PRAYERS:
1. Lord manifests your word of God in everything that I do in Jesus name.
2. Lord cause me to dwell in your word, reveal to me the hidden treasures of the earth in your word in Jesus name.
