TOPIC: THE NEED OF BEING A WORD PRACTITIONER
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. (KJV) James 1:22
Everyone who put God’s word to work continues in faith and in the faith. It takes faith to believe God. It takes faith to act on His word. Hebrews 10:38-39. Your cup is about to overflow in the name of Jesus. God’s word shall deliver you from backsliding.
The faith here is the ways of the Lord.
Hebrews 10:38-39 “Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul”.
6 Point to note: He is talking about the ultimate salvation on the last day when the trumpet shall be blown. As we keep putting God’s word to work we are delivered from backsliding. The grace of God is sufficient. I pray may God deliver you from too much temptation because it puts a believer in doubt.
Everyone who puts God’s words to work dwells in the light and shall not lose direction in life.
The entrance of the word giveth light and understanding. (Psalm 119:130). A steady practicing of God’s word connects you to the spirit of understanding. You are disconnected from the spirit of confusion, doom, slavery, and servitude, from taskmasters and taskmistresses. This keeps you in charge of every situation.
Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. Drop anxiety, don’t create worry. When anxiety is in place faith drops. Anxiety is the worry of the soul.
Everyone who puts God’s word to work lives in the truth and does not live in deception.
MEDITATION:
I live in the truth of the Word of God and not in deception
PRAYER:
1. By the power of the Holy Ghost and the blood of Jesus I purge myself of every darkness and receive the light that will guarantee wisdom for fruitfulness in every area of my life in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord restore to me the years I have wasted and bless me indeed like Jabez that I might become what you created me to be in Jesus name.
