TOPIC: THE MIND OF CHRIST
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5)
The mind of Christ is the mind that seeks to walk in obedience and humility. A mind that strifes not with God, not selfish, and not boastful. The word “LET’ here means to permit, of choice so you have the power to permit the mind of Christ in you.
When you reject the mind of Christ, you are simply saying
You don’t want to operate the way Christ operated yet you call yourself a Christian.
You don’t want to be look upon as a weakling by surrendering your all to Jesus in meekness and humility to serve God. Meekness does not mean weakness but strength under control. Meekness means the absence of pride harshness and arrogance.
You don’t want people to think you are stupid because of humility. Jesus wasn’t stupid, he was purposeful and focused.
Having the mind of Christ means; having an attitude and purpose in every services you render, it’s your heart condition towards God’s kingdom and your essence. Many of us are yet to find our place in kingdom activities and responsibilities.
What you sometimes call embarrassment is an enhancer that will lift you to the next level and also to keep you in tune in God’s plans and purpose for your life.
Having the mind of Christ also mean understanding what God wants you to do per time. A natural mind cannot access this dimension. It is only those with the mind of Christ that can receive signal on how God wants us to serve him per-time through the spirit of counsel (He counsel us, instructs us). It will only take someone with the mind of Christ to say father I thank you and wherever you want me, I will be there to serve you.
Service in the kingdom is dynamic but when you find yourself in an environment where religious spirit has taken people captive (in case you are a victim, the power in the word of God, is released to deliver you in the name of Jesus) it will take God coming down from heaven for them to understand that service in the house of God and in the kingdom of God is dynamic.
It changes from one level to another and this is the essence of growth, and as you mature in the things of the spirit God can now say because of maturity leave this department and serve in another.
To those who don’t understand, they may be complaining. When the devil wants to destroy some people he give them vocabulary to support their destruction.
Now the mind of Christ is a humble mind void of pride. For God gives more grace for kingdom service to the humble.
MEDITATION:
My life is hidden in Christ, I am covered in Him.
PRAYER:
1. Lord, expose every evil consultant in my family tormenting my destiny in Jesus name.
2. I retrieve every of my information that was in the possession of evil consultant in Jesus name
