THE LOVE OF GOD I N CHRIST JESUS

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
God loves us so much that He gave us His son as gift. This love of God should be a two-way exchange, and not one sided.
THE NATURE OF GOD’S LOVE
It is the love that has transferred us to sons of God. 1John 3:1
It is the love which compels divinity to disrobe Himself of the glory, majesty and condescend to our level. Hebrews 1: 5-9.
It is the love that made our Lord to deliberately/ willingly lay down His life for the sin of humanity John 15: 13
It is the love that generates and cultivates in us grace and truth which enables us to serve God acceptably. John 1:14
It is the love which makes our faith in God active and productive that we might be able to please Him at all times. Hebrews 11: 6, Galatians 5:6
It is the love that breaks the middle wall of partition between the Jews and Gentiles, thereby making peace in His body. Ephesians 2:14-15
MEDITATION:
The gift of God in the person of Jesus is a blessing to me
PRAYER
1. Lord, frustrate whatever wants to take your place in my life in Jesus’ name
2. Lord, thank you for giving me automatic visa to become a son in your kingdom in Jesus’ name
