THE CHOSEN FEW 2

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. (Matthew 20:16)
The chosen few are those who are not wise in their own eyes.
They are those who are teachable. If you are bringing your philosophy, ideology and scientific knowledge to pair with God’s word, you are planning to fail
Lot would have formed a wonderful nation if he were not wise in his own eyes.
The angel of the Lord through the intercessory prayer of Abraham spared him and his household from being destroyed alongside Sodom and Gomorrah and told him where he should run to, but he requested to go to a different country as against the perfect will of God for him. There he became the first man to impregnate his two daughters and perish (Permissive will)
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:7)
Anyone wise in his own eyes will not have the fear of God. When you feel no one should correct you, it means you are not working in the fear of God,
Nothing keeps life lively, strong and hopeful like a decision to walk in the divine will of God, not permissive will.
MEDITATION: I am open to correction
PRAYER:
1. Lord, let every spell cast on me with w view to diverting my attention from divine instruction catch fire in Jesus name
2. Father, help me to be teachable in Jesus name
