And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead. And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host [was] Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles. And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. Sisera is known for oppression, a protesting force.
Dimensions of his protests
a. He makes many to work without results
b. He makes eagles to fly like chickens
c. Sisera makes people stay longer in the wilderness [Esther 3]
d. Sisera chases people from light to darkness
Sisera is a captor who trades on the destiny of his captives
MEDITATION: I am not a captive to Sisera. I am free
PRAYER:
1. The stronghold built against my destiny by Sisera is broken in Jesus Name
2. The power of Sisera has lost control over my career in Jesus name
