SERVE HIM

SUNDAY 13TH AUGUST 2022

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed. (Joshua 24:15-17)

After God has used Joshua to conquer Canaan land (leading the children of Israel to the land of promise), so also, there’s something you are about to take over to the glory of God and to the shame of the devil.

It’s not by power, not by might, not by your own energy rather the Holy ghost is doing something, you may not really understand because of what you are seeing now in your life but the truth is that you can’t remain like this. God is about doing what will cause people to say “of a truth your God liveth” and that begins now in the name of Jesus.

The Lord is speaking to the power that has held you in captivity that they should let you be. Your liberty is established now in the name of Jesus. The essence of deliverance and redemption is service to God.

MEDITATION:

The word of God in me is my preservation for the last day.

PRAYER:

1. Oh Lord, let not the kingdom of darkness locate me and my household in Jesus name.

2. I shall not miss my purpose in the kingdom of God in the name of Jesus.
