Flattery II

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enters into life, keep the commandments.

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? ( Matthew 19:16-20)

You avoid shame and seek double honour. We are not following God primarily to be wealthy, we follow the master that our destiny might be repositioned, empowered to become, and to overcome.

Don’t conspire against the prince of peace because peace will be taken away from you. In this life, the good and the bad happen when they are in the will of God. It is called the process. Don’t give up when mockers or flatterers carry out their work. Don’t also live your life in flattery.

1. As far as these things are in the will of God it is possible [Mark 14: 30]

2. All things are possible [Mark 9:34]

3. With them that believe in God. Believing in a prophet you must test the spirit, and discern the spirit. Don’t despise prophesying but test every spirit.

(2 Chronicles 20:20) “And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Belief in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

4. Believe in the voice of the Lord and believe in the leadership of the Holy Ghost

The authoritative voice of the Lord in the Holy Ghost. Believe also that God does not lie. Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever”. Believe that the best shall always come out of the worst situation in your life
