“And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood. And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, this have we found; know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no” Genesis 37:31-32.
If you have lost or misplaced your own garments of honour, loyalty, wealth, wedding, favour, holiness, etc. the Lord shall show you mercy and they shall be found, your nakedness shall be covered for restoration. Joseph had a beautiful garment which the Bible refers to as “coat of many colours” given to him by his father, this particular garment distinguished him from the rest of his brethren in wisdom, favour, and divine acceptance. But when the force of envy from his brothers hit him, they stripped him naked, killed an animal, and sprinkled the blood of that beast on a torn coat of many colours thereby announcing his obituary to the father, Jacob.
As far as Joseph’s brothers were concerned, Joseph was dead. Envy has taken away Joseph’s garment from him and was dressed in an obituary garment. You may call it “grave cloths”. With this “strange garment”, he was sold into slavery.
Every garment that announces you the opposite of what God created you to be by the mercy of God catches fire now in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus washes you and cloths you with a glorious destiny in Jesus name. God has changed your story to glory and it shall not be the way it used to be in Jesus name.
MEDITATION: The glory of the Lord is risen upon me for a change of story and my mockers are put to shame.
PRAYERS:
3. Makers of evil garments hired against me by Satan and his agents what are you waiting for, die by fire, die by fire in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Marine tailors and seamstresses hired to make evil garments for me wear your garments and decay forever in the mighty name of Jesus.
