Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work where unto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. (Act 13:1-3).

The word of God is an organism, a living entity therefore the church is not just an organization but a living organism. A life that is not organized is a life that can be disorganized any time any day. When you start organizing your life, many friends will naturally separate from you.

Prayer and fasting is a medium of fellowship with God. When you fast, your spirit man is revived; you can hear and see easily through your spiritual antenna. It is in such a time that separation sets in.

Until separation takes place you won’t be able to know your purpose and carry out your work for which God brought you into his kingdom. When you are not separated, you won’t know how to think or communicate with God. You will just be a church man or woman without link with God.

There is somebody you must be separated from, God told Abraham to move. God did not call Lot, it was when lot was separated from Abraham that God told Abraham “lift up thy eyes as far as your eyes can see”

God is so much interested in you and there is something around you that does not allow God to reveal Himself to you. He has delivered and preserved you. Most times you are in danger or come face to face with death but He delivers you from it because He has a plan for you, but you never know what plan he has for you because of the things around you. Today, God is saying separate, that I may reveal myself to you.

MEDITATION:

The word of God has separated me from the works of the flesh and has aligned me to the Holy nature of God.

PRAYERS:

1. By the wisdom of God I break every connection from any friend who is also an enemy of my destiny in the name of Jesus.

2. By the blood of Jesus, I break and loose any satanic initiation my parents conducted with my name in the name of Jesus.
