CHOOSE TO SERVE HIM 2
And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth and serve me in this place. (Acts 7:7)
You are delivered so that you might serve Him: The essence of your redemption, salvation and deliverance is that you might serve the Lord your God. God brought us out of the house of bondage, delivers us, redeem us and granted us salvation so that we might serve him.
And by His goodwill, election and predestination has brought us to His house to serve God. Many of us cannot really tell how we came to this level of ourselves, so God has a purpose for bringing you to this level of your life.
There’s always a place God kept for us in Life as His children where we can render quality services to the kingdom of God, that’s why in the text above He says ‘in this place’. May God give you grace to serve him in the place he will show you in the name of Jesus.
We are saved, liberated and delivered to serve him, many can hardly recall how it used to be with them when they were not saved and redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Some of us were people who had no direction, people who were despised, looked down on as non entities, people who had no hope and cut away from the common wealth of Israel, people who had no relationship with God because our lives were filthy but by his mercy we are washed by his precious blood and brought closer to God who calls us sons and daughters. Today He is calling you His brothers and sisters, oh what a privilege.
The essence of this deliverance we receive from the Lord is that we might serve Him because when we were in the hands of the devil we were serving Satan happily and joyfully with our lives, substances and with our body, and he was mocking us preparing us for slaughter but thanks be to God who delivers us at the nick of time so that we might not be destroyed by the devil.
You will still remember some of your colleagues and friends who were not as bad as you were but they died, Satan killed them and never gave them the opportunity God has given to us.
God delivered us to serve without fear of any kind. It might surprise you to know that those who serve the devil don’t give excuses, so it does not matter how deep in sleep a witch is, when it is time for witchcraft operation, as sick as the witch might be, they won’t give excuse that it is so dark or too late, they have to be in their camp to carry out their wicked deeds.
Most of them look sickly and wretched physically but have you ever thought of what wakes them up? The consciousness of rendering quality service to the devil wakes them up and they fly.
As poor as some might be when the season comes to offer sacrifice to idols, they go to the extent of taking loan, to buy goats or whatever is demanded to offer and serve idols and after serving the idols returned home foodless yet wickedly happy, and satisfied that he has pleased the gods that did not make the heaven and earth. What a wasted effort. May you not waste your resources unprofitably.
It’s time we sit down and reconsider how diligently your are serving God compared to people of the world who go all out to serve Satan, who had nothing good to offer to them. God will give you grace to do better.
MEDITATION:
The fountain of life has brought life into my weakness and will serve God with all my might.
PRAYER:
Any politician using my destiny to win election be expose in JESUS name.
I refuse to be manipulated to fight against my destiny in Jesus name.
