Topic: FUNCTIONS OF SEPARATION

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
The blessing of the Lord is more important than riches and wealth. The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and added he added no sorrows (Prov 10; 22). Being separated connects you with the reality of God’s intent on earth and the mandate He has given you.

THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS COME AS A RESULT OF SEPARATION.

1. It empowers you for Holy living (2 Corinthians 6:17).
2. It helps you to escape defilement and Spiritual Pollution (Ps. 119:1-3) when you separate yourself from worldliness and sinners automatically you are blessed and you will be delivered from defilement.
It is important that we know that many believers are not seeking the Lord with the whole of their heart, the bible says by their fruits you shall know them, by their actions, anyone who is giving to God completely you don’t need any prophet to tell you this
one is seeking God with the whole of his Heart, and when you seek God with the whole of your heart He will bless you in due season with the whole of his might. You won’t be able to work in the ways of the Lord until you see the need to separate yourself from worldliness.
3. It makes you harmless because there is nothing that will make you yearn for retaliation and vengeance. (it will deliver us from unnecessary Offences) Heb. 7:26 – the more you link up yourself with the ungodly, the ungodly have their own thought pattern which makes them misinterpret everything you say.
4. It helps you to maintain our righteousness and unction of the Spirit (Eccl. 9:8) it’s impossible to be in the midst of unbelievers and your garment will still be kept white, the little unction you have will evaporate. Separation will help you to keep and maintain your anointing; it will help you to maintain the righteousness of God given to you through Christ Jesus.
5. It help you to escape defilement and Spiritual Contamination (Heb. 7:26, 1Corn. 15:33)
6. It attracts God Blessings to you (Ps. 1:1) – the fact that you are not working in their counsel makes you to receive a measure of blessing. The life of a believer is made so simple for him/her, and how to attract God’s blessing is made very simple too, he says there’s a measure of blessing you receive as my children if you don’t take the counsel of the ungodly.
Another one is if you don’t stand in the ways of the sinners, How to stand; don’t do what they do, don’t acts the way the act, the last blessing as a believer is when you don’t seat in the seat of the scornful. So three blessings are cheaply release to you by not taking the counsel of the ungodly, by not standing, acting, and doing what they do.
MEDITATION: By the mercy of God through his words, I am delivered from evil pollution and contamination.
PRAYER:
1. Oh Lord, deliver me from every unfriendly friend that wants to lead me to eternal destruction in Jesus name.
2. By the blood of Jesus, I cut off every evil hand and tongue manipulating me towards destruction.

A faithful man shall abound withy blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Proverbs 28:20
Being rich is not a question of possessing massive financial and material resources; rather, it’s a question of encountering God on every side. It has to do with other things that one should posses to make him/her famous and influential.
What is wealth without health? What is riches without the salvation of soul what is money without peace of mind etc.
Whatever God has given to you shall not be taken away unnoticed or by notice. The power of preservation and security is released to whatsoever is yours in Jesus name.

AREAS OF DISCONTENTMENT:

1. Financial/material discontentment: from economic perspective, human wants are insatiable. This economic reality has made many to go the extra mile to pursue money at all cost including shedding of innocent blood. Contentment must not be mistaken for complacency. As kingdom representatives, you are required to apply kingdom principles to put under control excessive desire to amass wealth at the detriment of your relationship with your maker.
2. Recognition discontentment: some people get dissatisfied at the level of recognition accorded them. People in this category want to be addressed in consonance with their title, academic attainment, financial status etc.
3 Placement and positional discontentment: This has made some people to hold back their Tithe/ offerings. Some even go as far as making vows without redeeming them because they are not given desired position in church. Not being satisfied with the placement and position you find yourself is a direct result of ignorance of the fact that it’s God who promotes or appoints people into positions of responsibility.
4. Other areas of discontentment include but not limited to acceptance discontentment and appreciation discontentment.
God is looking for servants in his house so that he can anoint them, avail yourself to be used to reach out to others
MEDITATION: The word of God is more than enough for me.
PRAYERS:
1. Heavenly father, help me not to miss my blessings in the name of Jesus.
2. By the power of God, I receive grace to be contented with myself in Jesus name.

Topic: DISCONTENTMENT

Discontentment is a direct opposite of contentment, a state of absolute dissatisfaction in the negative, so there’s a positive discontentment and that has to do with “ Lord am not satisfied with the spiritual temperature am going with, am not satisfied with my word level, am not satisfied with my prayer life”, that is discontentment in the positive. I can’t settle for this but unfortunately the devil makes sure that he shifts our attention from these areas where we should express discontentment and compels us to focus our attention on other areas which are not necessary.
There’s just one person who will not despise you in his presence no matter how you are, no matter how it is with you, that person is God. It is only God who will celebrate you in his presence, who is happy with you and extends the glorious invitation unto us every now and then. Some great men of the world will not appreciate you at your season of labour, they may think you are too dirty to come close to them, but the Lord is saying why you are so unkempt, why it appears you are so dirty, why it appears your beauty has left you because of what you are going through; come unto me, In my presence there are fullness of joy.
When you are driven away from people by one thing or the other in life, it is only in his presence that you can fine comfort, shelter, security, help, favor, healing, joy, and by rejoicing you are bond in his presence. From today you are free from every form of bondage and your freedom is established in victory in the name of Jesus.
We have been looking at factors that meditate against tithing, vows and redemption of vows. Why is it that Christian don’t tithe, and unbelievers takes it upon themselves to pay tithe consistently.
Discontentment brings about murmuring and all this things happen unto them in the wilderness and all of them were destroyed. Please it is an error for us to carry the Holy Bible in our hands as heaven citizens and still fall prey to the enemy. It is an error for us to carry the constitution simplified (the Bible) and still fall prey to the hand of the evil one who roar about like a roaring lion seeking for whom to devour which I pray there shall not find you in the mighty name of Jesus. This evil lion shall not found you, the devil shall not locate your dwelling place in the precious name of Jesus.
MEDITATION: Am contented with the WORD in me.
PRAYER:
1. I come against every spirit of discontentment over my life in Jesus name.
2. I receive grace to understand the voice of God clearly as He speaks to me daily in Jesus name.

Topic: ACCESSING THE SECRET OF THE LORD

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of the law. (Deut. 29:29)
God has secret, what makes Him God is in the secret He keeps. Your strength lies in your secret. Someone who does not have secret is someone who jumps from one trouble to another. God has secrets so much that He speaks in seasons, He doesn’t speak anyhow. Secret is that which is substantial and cannot be readily exposed.
The secret of God is His Covenant: the covenants of the Lord are the laid down divine laws, principles ordained by God to be observed and followed by man for the liberation of mankind from the woes of the hour.
Covenants are two sided in nature-“ Gods -ward and mans-ward”. For example, the covenant of Blessing is rooted in seed time and harvest (Gen. 8:22). It is also rooted in tithing (Mal. 3:6-10). For your blessings to be established you must yield to the covenant of tithing.
The secret of God is the will of God: His will must be sought for in everything including marriage, business and career. When you are in the will of God; He makes a way out for you.
The secret of God is the plan of God; His plans are the thoughts He has concerning you (Jer 29:11). When you know God’s plan concerning your life, you will not live a “plan-less” life.
The secret of God is the keys of the kingdom: there are keys to open heaven, prosperity, healthy living, sustainable business partnership/ relations.
Keys to open heaven requires:
1. Submission
2. Sacrifice
3. Tithing.
It is God’s divine purpose: if you know the purpose of a thing, abuse will be far from you. You will use the money God has given you wisely if you know the purpose for which it is given. You will spend it wisely for the kingdom.
The secret of the Lord is the laws of the Lord:
1. Commandments
2. Statutes
3. Precepts
4. Ordinances
“this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate….. (Joshua 1:8)
MEDITATION: The secret of the Lord is revealed in me as I focus on god’s word.
PRAYER:
1. Through the power of the spirit I command every evil secret in my family to be exposed in the name of Jesus.
2. I decree that every work of those who smile with me yet stab me at the back be exposed in Jesus name.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
Bondage produces bitter life, a bitter life is a product of a depressed mind. By wisdom a house is built. Wisdom is a spirit (Isa. 11:2). If there is a house of bondage; there is also the house of freedom/ liberty. Every house is built for a purpose. Notice that there is self-induced bondage as seen in the case of Job.

AVENUES INTO BONDAGE:

FEAR: More often than not human nature tends to introduce fear into our lives. For the things which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. Job 3:2
MEDITATION: The power of boldness is upon me, i fear not in Jesus name
PRAYER:
1. I come against every evil spirit intimidating me, be consumed by fire in Jesus name.
2. I decree that I am a winner in everything I lay my hands on in Jesus name.

Topic: FREEDOM FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
There are people who build house specifically for the purpose of keeping people in bondage. The house of bondage is a place of slavery. As a slave, in such a house, there is a limit of acceptance you enjoy, there’s a limit of joy and happiness a slave has over there.
Everyone in the house of bondage is subject to hard labour and rigorous duties.
House of bondage is a place of financial frustration mixed with hardship and huge indebtedness. It is a place where no matter the profit or amount you earn, you end up spending it without any tangible proof.
It is a place of sowing massively and reaping little or nothing, it is a place where no matter the amount of effort you put, people don’t seems to appreciate it.
Evil foundation opens the door of bondage into people’s lives. Household wickedness is the function of evil foundation whose stock in trade is to bring great destinies in the family into captivity.
And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Exodus 6:5
Today is your day of remembrance, the Lord has remembered you today and He is committed to bringing you out of bondage of any kind. So Let not your heart be trouble, for the Lord is on your side, and through the word of God, the spirit of God is pulling you out of financial, marital, spiritual and environmental bondage .
MEDITATION: the blood of the lamb has redeemed me from every captivity.
PRAYER:
1. I decree the fire of God over every evil family file recording my name among its captive in Jesus name.
2. I speak total freedom over my finance, health and family in Jesus name.

  • A new song has to do with song of Jubilation, Praise, Joy, and Happiness etc.
  • A new song comes with new atmosphere, new event.
  • It promotes new entertainment
  • It comes with new garment.
  • It makes you look new.
  • When God put a new song in your mouth, you don’t need to go for Choir rehearsal.
  • New song comes with a Joyful noise, praises and a loud noise (Psalm 98:1-4)
  • Answers to prayers enhance a new song (Isaiah 42:10)

Note: As a mother, anytime you speak positive things about your child, you are singing a new song.

  • (Psalm 149:1) you sing a new song in your house, and also at where God picked you.

 

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY A NEW SONG

  • The arrival of a new thing.
  • It makes your mouth to enlarge (1 Sam. 2:1).
  • There are marvelous things that make you create new songs. (1 Sam.2:2).
  • It comes to terminate our horrible past (Isaiah.43:18-19)

 

  • It is also a friend to supernatural event. Supernatural event is what Divinity does to dumbfound humanity, it can also be called “MIRACLE”. (EX.15:1-3).

 

PRAYERS:

  1. No more songs of sorrow in Jesus name Amen.
  2. As you rise in the morning, you shall sing a new song.
  3. Your mouth is wide open for praises to flow.
  4. Your house, children, church etc is a house of praises in Jesus name Amen.
  5. You shall sing from one song of lifting, loud shout to another in Jesus name Amen.
  6. You shall sing a new song before the end of the year in Jesus name Amen.

TOWARDS GENERATIONAL RELEVANCE

Topic: TOWARDS GENERATIONAL RELEVANCE

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. Psalms 45:16-17
Being irrelevant means the individual has expired before he/she is required, He is rather tolerated than appreciated.There are known limits in every family. People have risen and fallen; this implies that there are important godly principles which they ignored deliberately. However, it is an indisputable fact that others have broken limits generationally.
There are pathways leading to the high way for generational relevance as highlighted below;
1. The pathway of righteousness (proverbs 14:34) Righteousness gives you boldness to face your destiny squarely. It brings steady uplift, promotion and delivers you from shame.
Righteousness is a seed planted by God to keep you in charge of affairs. It is a scepter that strengthens your throne as a king (Romans 5:17)
Righteousness produces godly character thus;
Faith – Ability to trust in God truly.
Meekness – Absence of pride, harshness and arrogance.
Love – It guarantees the full impartation of the fullness of God in us ( Isa. 11:1)
Holiness – godliness in nature and conduct (Romans 1:4)
The fear of God – By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life (Proverbs 22:4)
2 Obedience – (Deut. 28:1-2) disobedience is a spirit. It’s an affliction and a torment.
For you to attend generational relevance; you must hearken, observe and follow God’s instructions diligently and patiently. Also, it is dependent on your approach to God, life, work and money. The change that will attract tangible relevance must begin with you.
3 Drop what is not relevant:
a. Your past – your past should not be made strong enough to swallow your present (Philippians 3:13-14)
b. Drop friends and colleagues who don’t have dream and vision
c. Understand that privacy and confidentiality is required for relevance – deliberately guide your tongue(Proverbs 21:23, 13:3)
d. Take godly counsel for every step you intend to take (Proverbs 11:14)
MEDITATION: the spirit of the Lord has anointed me with the power to remain relevant.
PRAYER:
1. I come against every foundational evil altars attacking my relevance to collapse in the name of Jesus.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev.12:10-11
A lady who has been barren for several years was told by God in her place of prayers that she should go and buy baby stuffs and get ready for her baby. The lady obeyed the voice of the Lord and did as she was commanded but on her way from the market, she met with some of her mockers who asked her what she was going to do with baby’s items, out of shame she lied that the baby’s items were actually for her friend, as soon as she made that statement she saw blood running down between her legs, unknown to her, she had conceived the very moment she decided to obey and act on God’s word but what terminated the pregnancy was the negative words that proceeded out of her mouth.
The baby was ready spiritually, but she denied it physically by refusing to confess the positive words of her testimony.
Never allow people to make you develop a deeper degree of low self esteem at the detriment of your breakthrough.
That you are not yet marry doesn’t mean you won’t marry, so don’t block your marriage by speaking negative words not even as a joke.
The way to overcome the enemy is by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony, you have to testify of the things the Lord did yesterday, the things He is doing today, and the things he will do tomorrow. Many people want to see tomorrow’s testimony happens first before they can testify and that is not faith. By faith you may be living in a rented apartment but you already see yourself in your mansion so you don’t keep quiet about it, testify of it today.
MEDITATION: the word of God has deleted every negative words from my dictionary.
PRAYER:
1. I decree that my life is a total manifestation of the purpose of God in Jesus name.
2. I declare that I am more than a conqueror in the mighty name of Jesus.

How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: (Numb.14:27-28).
The spirit of God searches the heart of man to perform whatever that man says concerning himself. Whatever negative words that may be ringing in your heart by reason of the condition and situation surrounding you be it negative words of accusation and allegation that have caused you to believe the evil report of your accusers against you, rise up and break the curse of negative words by speaking the word of God in you through your tongue.
God will surely see you through the same way He delivered the Israelite out of the land of Egypt to the promise land, but before then they had to face giants in the land. This scenario happens so that you may understand that when God is taking you to your ordained place of glory, you will have challenges, meet enemies on the way, and come face to face with hard situations and disappointments but in the midst of it all, God is the way maker.
But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. (Numbers 13:31).
God brought them to the land of possibilities as he had promised them but guess what?, they had already cursed themselves by reducing themselves to a grasshopper. In the midst of situations that were to be handled by human beings, they ended up addressing themselves as grasshoppers. Even in today’s contemporary life, most believers still commit the error by speaking negative words in their sick bed thinking that the disease will kill them.
Through your words you could surrender your victory power to the devil to capitalize on. Most times we fail because we look at the increase in poverty, indices of cancer cases, rate of divorce as well as the character of corrupt leaders around the world. These happen to be the reason we end up speaking hopeless words against our health, business, marriage and our nation.
Never look at the size of your problem, rather look at the size of the word of God because in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God , so the Word of God is God Himself and you know that God is almighty, magnificent and omnipotent. When challenges come, speak the mighty things of God word.
MEDITATION: the word of God in my mouth is my new vocabularies.
PRAYER:
1. I declare over my life that I am blessed in the name of Jesus.
2. I declare that I am not a failure; I am a success to my generation in the name of Jesus.
