BECOMING THE LORD’S INSTRUMENT
TUESDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2022
‘But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel’ (Act 9:15)
You are a chosen instrument. This calls for an immediate decision on who should use you between God and Satan. Casualty is now found in the church because many people have refused to be used by God.
A decision to be converted to the family of light makes you a child of God, born of water and the spirit. When you believe and become born again you are brought into the house of God as an instrument for good works
TO BECOME AN INSTRUMENT IN GOD’S HAND
*We must see Jesus as our perfect example. When that is done, you will deliberately surrender yourself to him as his apprentice. In biblical terms, an apprentice is known as a disciple.
Just as what is obtainable in the secular world, there are principles guiding discipleship which must be followed accordingly. “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man”.(Hebrews 2:9)
As a disciple of Jesus, don’t be deceived that after being born again you will live a trouble-free life. That is not true. You will endure shame because since the day you said yes to Jesus, Satan is not happy so he fights tooth and nail to take you back but the grace of God is sufficient to keep you going.
MEDITATION: I receive grace to fight a good fight of faith.
PRAYER:
1. By the power of the Holy Ghost I pull down every satanic structure that has held me captive in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord let me not follow you and stop halfway in Jesus name
