AVENUES FOR DIVIDED LOYALTY

SUNDAY 12TH JUNE 2022

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matt. 6: 22-24

Divided loyalty comes through the following avenues:

1. When you don’t believe in the leadership of your church anymore.

2. When you think you are not duly recognized by the leadership of the church.

3. It comes when one is caught up with the spirit of Judas Iscariot unknown to him or her. Faith is not a blind leap into the dark. Faith that doesn’t work with wisdom will destroy the carrier of such faith. One must be sensitive when your speech and your speed of delivery has started changing towards your church. There are certain things we do and because we are not sensitive even if it’s normal, Satan closes your eyes even when people corrected you. Judas didn’t check what was going on in his heart, things were changing yet he never noticed it.

4. It comes when you are no longer satisfied with the teaching and preaching of your church.

5. Divided loyalty comes when your heart is divided with the thoughts of uncertainty whether you are in your land (right place) of worship or not

6. It comes through a bloodline character of betrayal and treason. It is there in the family. There are families that the act of sabotage runs in their blood. Judas was the only disciple who was not a Galilean. As such whatever he did Jesus did not care unlike the case with Peter.

MEDITATION:

I aligned my life with the Holy Spirit that I may fulfill my destiny.

PRAYERS:

1. O Lord silence every power trying to kill me before my time in the name of Jesus.

2. By the authority of heaven, I destroy every evil record keeper strategizing when evil event should happen against me and my destiny in the name of Jesus.
