THE PURPOSE OF PRAYER 3
WEDNESDAY 22ND DECEMBER 2021
Â
“I exhort therefore that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men”.
1 Timothy 2:1.
Â
1. Prayers gives you a revelation into what the enemy would likely do. If you ignore the revelation given to you in the place of prayer, you are ignorantly falling to the trap of your enemy and you can be sure of defeat.
Â
2. Prayers gives you guidelines and direction to avoid recklessness which leads to destruction.
Â
3. Prayer equips you with wisdom and knowledge.
Â
4. Prayer makes you submit yourself to God’s will (James 4:7). Submission that will yield result, is the one done in line with the will of God.
Â
5. Prayer renews your mind: The mind is the battle field. It needs constant renewal via the word of God. Romans 12:1-2. Bring your body under subjection.
Â
MEDITATION: Through prayers I’m connected to my creator
Â
PRAYER:
Â
1. I come against every spirit of lukewarmness in the place of prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.
Â
2. I cancelled every spirit of procrastination during my hour of prayer in the name of Jesus.
