THE PURPOSE OF PRAYER

“I exhort therefore that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men”.
1 Timothy 2:1.

Prayer crates a platform for an interaction and the maintenance of intimacy with God.
Prayer transforms your personality: “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Prayer strengthens your longevity. “That He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man”. Ephesian 3:16.
Prayers gives an assurance of victory, as well as deliverance from temptations.
It is a platform to seek for God’s grace (unmerited favour). “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. “Hebrews 4:16.

MEDITATION:
The word of the Lord has position me for effective prayer life.

PRAYER:
1. Lord strengthen my spiritual life in the name of Jesus.

2. I receive grace not to feel discourage during the hour of prayer
