THE ABSENCE OF PURITY

That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 1 Thessalonians 4:6(KJV).
There is coming a day of accountability, a day of reckoning, a day when all will be revealed. God sees all. He knows all and all impurity He will judge. The Lord will punish men for all such sin (1 Thessalonians 4:6)
Sin in the life of a believer is not different from sin in the life of an unbeliever. Sin is sin. God will never condemn sin in the sinner and condone it in the lives of His children! If you fall, if you stray, there is forgiveness with the Lord. If you genuinely seek Him in repentance, He will forgive you, but you will have to live with the scars.
Helps To A Life Of Purity
1. Be born again( John 3:1-9; Romans 14:17-18)
2. Recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit. He abides in us. Respect His person. Receive His power. He alone makes us holy (John 16:7-14). Be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
3. Continually and steadfastly read and study the word (2 Timothy 2:15). Apply same to your daily living.
Put to use the gifts of God in your life (2 Timothy 1:6, 1 Peter4:10-11). The choice is ours! Live vertically in the power of the Spirit and not horizontally in the weakness of the flesh. A holy man is an amazing weapon in the Lord’s hand!
MEDITATION: The spirit of God abides in me and instruct me daily.
PRAYERS:
1. Abba father is my portion and I reject every opposition to my faith in Christ in the name of Jesus.
2. My father and my maker, every inherited character that wants to draw me back by the strength of the shed blood purge my life from inherited traits and healed me in Jesus name.
