MAINTAINING YOUR FOCUS
SATURDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 2023
WONDERWORLD CAPSULES BY APST. JORDAN AKADA
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. (Philippians 3:13)
Focus means to give attention, effort, etc to one particular subject, situation or person, rather than another. Focus is the key to great achievement. If you must be different and relevant in your pursuit, focus and concentrate on it. Focus on your business, focus on your career, focus on your home, and focus on your work.
The Need To Focus
Every great military battle is won by bringing all forces to concentrate on a single objective.
Focus helps people work faster and quicker. The faster you work; the more energy you have. The slower you work, the more tired and uninterested you become. Slow work makes you tired (Proverbs 16:3)
Focus keeps people from backsliding, envy, jealousy, and strife (Proverbs 26:20)
Focus or concentration depends solely on the ability to distinguish between the relevant and the irrelevant, anyone who cannot decide on what is important, will never use the power of concentration. Finish one thing at a time.
Every great human achievement is the product of concentration.
The more suspension and delays on projects, the more discouraged everyone becomes. “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life” Proverbs 13:12.
I see God pulling you out and destroying every weight that easily beset you and strengthening you in righteousness in the name of Jesus.
MEDITATION: in Christ Jesus, I have a sound mental ability and I live in divine wisdom and understanding and the spirit of boldness is in me.
PRAYERS
1. Abba father, in the name of Jesus I come against every spirit of distraction and the covering cast of the enemy in my life be melted by fire in the name of Jesus.
2. Oh Lord, deliver me from lack of concentration in my kingdom pursuit and daily living in Jesus name and help me to settle in your will
