I WANT TO DWELL IN CANAAN

But Sarai was barren; she [had] no child. And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran (Genesis 11:30-32: KJV)
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (Genesis 12:1-4)
Things to note about Canaan:
Canaan is a place of God’s desire and delight for his people.
Canaan is an accursed man being delivered from the curse and he became a wealthy nation.
One who was prophetically declared a slave but later became a great king.( Genesis 9:22-26)
The land of a man who was cursed. It does not matter how you were curse your later day shall be greater. Yes, you were cursed directly by someone. The same man that was cursed shall be made great, if God could do this for Canaan then yours shall be better.
Canaan has to do with that which the Lord shall show you for your next lift to the next level.
MEDITATION:
Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law that the blessings of Abraham might come unto me.
PRAYERS:
1. Abba father, Daddy may I not go through the hand writing and the punishment of my forebears because I hope in you in the name of Jesus.
2. If Canaan was this blessed, father through the blood of Jesus may my labour not be in vain cause my water to be turned to wine, my sweat to sweetness and my wilderness to overflowing abundance in the name of Jesus.
