SUNDAY 29TH AUGUST, 2021

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. (1 Chron.4:10)

The word of God is a life giving force, your exploits in life is attached to the word that is stored in your heart which then affect your thought pattern. Man becomes what he thinks.

Jabez was constantly thinking of blessings, enlargement, protection, safety and it reflected in the prayer he rendered to God and God granted him his request according to the desire of his heart.

To break forth in life, you must first and foremost have the fear of God in you. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Phi.2:11-12).

Secondly, you must have a very strong decision that is backed up by the word of God. If you want to remain a child forever then situations will toss you to any direction.

The word of God contains divine counsel that comes with supernatural strategy, each time the wonderful counselor counsels you, you become a wonder.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isa. 9:6)

When the wonderful counselor comes, he gives instructions that will set up your mockers, like He did at the wedding in Canaan when the wine got finished.

Blessings, enlargement and protection are your portion right now because the wonderful counselor has given a push of breakthrough that will lead to your breaking forth and no power shall reduce you anymore.

MEDITATION:

I receive divine insight and the grace to break forth on every side.

PRAYERS:

1. Holy Spirit empower me with spiritual energy that I may finish the Christian race in Jesus name.

2. Every red sea on my way to fulfill destiny dries up in the mighty name of Jesus.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5: 19)

One of the ways of modernizing your stronghold is by trying to apply logic for personal interest. The spirit of thinking of yourself first without considering others is a stronghold. The spirit of wanting everybody to be under you is a stronghold. Even when you don’t know how to discharge your duties, yet you want to be in charge.

Strong hold if not properly managed gives birth to pattern, pattern can be inherited or acquired..

MEDITATION:

I open my heart to the word of God that my entire being may come under the control of the mind of Christ.

PRAYERS:

1. Father deliver me from ancestral stronghold in Jesus name

2. Lord, I refuse negative family Pattern in Jesus name

And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen, and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. (Gen.37:25-28)

There are people whose stock in trade is to trade people’s destiny,  they do everything possible to ensure that people don’t fulfill their destiny, and based on this, they sell out the right of people through evil manipulation.

In the same way, people go to the market to look for the desired commodity, evil men go for evil shopping. They look for someone’s finance to buy so as to subject the true owner of the destiny to abject poverty., When such a thing occurs, no matter the kind of business the victim may venture into, he or she will not make a profit, They work without getting paid and maybe in debt without any reason.

Destiny hunters investigate to persecute, they are manipulators who work secretly to frustrate the actualization of dreams in the family, churches, community, business, etc. Joseph’s brethren were destiny sellers who auction the star that was in their midst to evil buyers; the Ishmaelite for twenty pieces of silver.

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him. (Matt. 26:14-16)

Evil traders may pretend to be so concerned about your situation yet working against you. It is the power of God in you which is the residue of the word of God that will disengage you from every transaction and manipulation of any evil seller or buyer.

You are victories in all situations.

MEDITATION:

The word of God has demarcated me from the evil market showroom.

PRAYERS:

1. O Lord, deliver me from every demonic bargaining against my destiny in Jesus name.

2. I disconnect myself from every evil buyer that is seeking my destiny in Jesus name.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10)

Manifestation talks about revelation – the uncovering and unlocking of destiny. It is the birthing forth and showing forth of destinies. The word of God has the capacity to birth forth oversized blessings.

The manifestation of God’s word in your life is what removes the letter “L” from your WILDERNESS and gives you WIDERNESS which means enlargement of your coast.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the LORD. 2 Cor. 3:18

Grace is what takes you from one level of glory to another. For you to enjoy the reality of the manifestation of the glory of God, you must believe the message in the word of God.

As a believer, you must know who you believe, what you believe, and why you believe. What you believe, whom you believe, and why you believe form your character.

MEDITATION:

I refuse to use the formula of the flesh to calculate the manifestation of my glory.

PRAYERS:

1. I come against every spirit of wrong decision over my life in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to manifest my glory in Jesus name.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Rom 8:18)
 
It is true that man cannot escape the challenges of life which the Bible refers to it as “the sufferings of this present time”, because they are part of the things that mold us into maturity, making it possible for us to respond to life with active responsibilities.
 
Responsibility is what separates a mature person from a child, maturity makes you not repeat past mistakes of life, its keeps you focused on your purpose and calling, it makes you not murmur on your duty post because it gives you a mental picture of your glorious future.
 
It does not matter the negative stories you may be hearing or the frightening experiences or shortages you notice in your finances, let your confidence be drawn from the fact that the Bible refers to it as “light affliction” meaning that the glory of your future has more weight than whatever you are passing through right now.
 
You should be engaging in an extreme mode of thanksgiving because your tomorrow is heavier than your today by reason of the blessings that are waiting for you.
 
MEDITATION:
 
I position my thought pattern to align with the glory that God has prepared ahead of me.
 
PRAYERS:
 
1. O Lord, the strength of my salvation, protect me from being swallowed by affliction in Jesus name.
 
2. O Lord grant not the desire of the wicked over my affairs and my family in Jesus name.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Col.3:16)
 
Personal intimacy with God keeps a believer’s soul in shape. It is very crucial for every true follower of Christ to pursue personal intimacy at any cost as a favor to self and purpose.
 
This intimate connection with Christ revitalizes your motivation for services and provides the raw materials for tenacity, self-fulfillment, and actualization.
 
The compelling demands of the day deplete a Christian’s spiritual stamina, making him or her feel dry, empty, and exhausted. But there is a lifesaving alternative.
 
To deepen our intimacy with Christ, you must seek solitude with the word. An hour of solitude in the Word could help us take captive of every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
 
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor.10:5)
 
Intimacy with God clears spiritual, emotional, and relational cobwebs out of the corners of our lives. Obligations and expectations keep one’s calendar loaded. In as much as you cannot escape your ‘ timetable’, why not use it for what really matters. Schedule time with God just as intentionally as you schedule your shopping.
 
MEDITATION:
 
The word of God is my strategy for deepening my intimacy with Christ.
 
PRAYERS:
 
1. Jehovah Elohim, let your fire consume every destroyer of good relationship in the mighty name of Jesus.
 
2. I decree that my life is hedged and sharpened by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chron. 7:14)
 
The phrase “If my people” means that these people belong to God. God is saying here my people are proud and in consequence, it hinders supernatural visitation from becoming a daily thing.
 
God’s people are not praying again; God’s people have not been seeking God’s face. God’s people seem to be pursuing the euphoria of material manifestation which seems to be in vogue thereby neglecting the raw manifestation of God’s power.
 
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Rev. 18:4)
 
There is no power of pandemic that God cannot cure, all that is required is for God’s people to humble themselves before their creator.
 
MEDITATION:
 
The word of God brings healing to me, the people, and the land.
 
PRAYERS:
 
1. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I cancel every injunction fighting the word of God towards me in Jesus name.
 
2. By the authority of Jesus, I arrest every spirit of poverty, unfruitfulness, and barrenness over the land in Jesus name.

And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
 
He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
Come now, therefore, I pray thee, curse me these people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed. (Numbers 22: 4-6)
 
The unique thing about the above scripture is that the people of Israel were too many, and Balak never said come and kill them, or throw stones at them, he just says come and curse them. In life as long as a person lives and operate under curse, life will be up and down (unstable).
 
You don’t need to go for research to know someone who is under a curse because the manifestation is there. One curse taken away from someone can make a person achieve what he couldn’t achieve in ten years.
 
Jesus even said that the poor will you always have with you. (Matt 26: 11)
 
A  curse can make a person serve God and die in poverty. There is no projection of reputation that can cause a poor person to become rich.
 
There are diverse kinds of poverty, poverty of speech, poverty of relationship, poverty of reasoning, etc.
Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them. (Joshua 13:22)
 
Soothsayers will tell you all your problems but no solution; they said things that will make you feel good without being good. Soothsayers are diviners. There are some people (demonic prophets) who go around with Bible yet there are mobile altars and if they place a curse on you it stands. There are certain places you enter by mere stepping your feet into that arena you have registered your destiny with them in their altar.
 
Many believers are going through all manner of things because Balaam is placing curses on them.
 
MEDITATION:
I rejoice in the Lord, for the eradication of curses over my life.
 
PRAYER:
1. I dismantle and destroy every curse of imprisonment over my life in the mighty name of Jesus.
 
2. By divine intervention, I overturn and override all the works of the wicked against my destiny in the mighty name of Jesus.

TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF IDOLATRY 2

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. (1 Cor.12:1-2)

There are ancient idols that our forebears used to pay allegiance to and they even went as far as making some commitment of covenant by telling the idolatry altars that their children and next-generation shall come and serve them.

Now in the present generation, you may be here serving God without knowing that there are certain altars of Idols fighting you on the grounds that you have disconnected yourself from servicing them, this then steers up anger which leads to spiritual attack.

  Things to know about idols:

  1. They demand forceful worship, they keep inviting you to be married to their altar. For an instant, a man that is married to a goddess will not like to eat the wife’s food no matter what she cooks. No affection at all to the wife.

 

  1. They are dumb gods
  2. Human beings, family, and community are dedicated to these idols: some families are named after this goddess.
  3. They have their human representative. E.g the goddess of the River Nile had pharaoh as its representative that was why the pharaoh declared that all male children should be slaughter and thrown into the river Nile as a sacrifice. Beware when evil decrees are made it might be to waste a particular destiny. Moses was born at this instance. His mother took Moses to the river to hide, unknown to her, she was indirectly dedicating him. Moses had to confront water almost at every point in his life. Water also stopped Moses from entering Canaan land.

 

  1. They have altars and these altars are being serviced by human beings. When the spirit of these dumb gods is within you it puts hatred between you and your man of God, the church, and your destiny helper. When this spirit visits you for a week it will rob you of ten years of blessing in advance.

MEDITATION:

The word of God in me is the sword of the spirit that destroys every altar of idolatry over me.

PRAYER:

  1. O’ Lord, by your power, I destroy every evil altar accusing my destiny with the false allegation in the mighty name of Jesus.
  2. By the Power of God, I command every evil altar that is using me against myself to catch fire in the mighty name of Jesus.

TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF IDOLATRY

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. (1 Cor.12:1-2)

Concerning spiritual gifts, God doesn’t want you to make mistakes because He knows your foundation. You used to go to church but your religious activities were navigated and controlled by the rules of these dumb idols.

Deu.5:6, 7  thou shall not have any other god before me.

There is no other god strong enough to receive our praise and worship as well as our services. They are dump idols, they have eyes but they can’t see, they that worship them shall look like them.

If your great grandfather worshiped them, they shall look like them not you.

Because you are worshiping the Almighty God you shall look like the Almighty.

Most people worshipping idols live in shrines, Jesus said you can’t have two masters, so by this act, any idols in your family that your grandfather used to worship and they are eyeing you to drag you into their part,  may the Lord deliver you in Jesus name.

There is a story of a lady who was pregnant for 13 months and she gave birth to an idol and all effort to terminate the life of this creature medically and otherwise proved abortive. Later it was discovered that the goddess had said that she should replace her as the goddess priestess in their community. It was when she went to the shrine to stay that the creature died after 7 years of torment. Whatever places a demand on your life to torment you the Word of God is disgracing them today.  She was tormented because she had no knowledge of who Christ is and how she can be delivered.

The finger of God is bringing you out from every bondage of idolatry through the mighty power in the word of God.

MEDITATION:

The wisdom of God is working in me preparing me as a vessel of the Lord in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

  1. I receive divine sensitivity not to defile or vandalize my destiny in the mighty name of Jesus.
  2. I receive grace to obey and not to argue with the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
