BEWARE OF ENEMIES OF THE CROSS

Behold, I send you forth as sheep among wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. (Matthew 10:16-17)
To be wise as a serpent and harmless as doves mean to be alert for the manifestation, sugarcoated tongue, and the harmless moves of hypocrites or pretenders in the body of Christ. Otherwise, you will be swallowed up by their fake presentation of the truth. We should not participate in other people’s iniquity. Don’t defend what you should not defend so that you don’t destroy God’s defense for your life.
The spirit of God in you should repel unbelievers around you. When unbelievers are comfortable around you; check your life, you are probably not on fire and you cannot overcome their scheme.
Separate yourself from fake brothers, sisters, and unbelievers out there. It is disastrous to make an unbeliever your confidant. No matter how beautiful a snake may be; it is not void of poison.
MEDITATION: I am unshakeable
PRAYER:
1. father, grant me the grace to increase the fire in me so as to repel the enemies of the cross around me in Jesus name
2. Lord, I have chosen to remain faithful in my walk with you, so help me in Jesus name
