AVOIDING DISTRACTION TO YOUR FOCUS

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. (Philippians 3:13)
There are distractions you must avoid in your focus. These are the things that do not allow you to have good success.
a) Avoid the distraction that comes by trying to compete, this will drag you into all sorts of activities in which you will try to outdo another. An Unhealthy competition that has led many to destitution.
b) Avoid the distraction of doing other people’s jobs. Most people are distracted into unnecessary things to compensate for irresponsible relatives, friends, colleagues, etc.
c) Avoid the distraction of unproductive arguments. “But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes” 2 Timothy 2:23 (KJV). Avoid arguments and people who hate the truth. ” For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” 2 Corinthians 13:8 (KJV). This means arguments, shouting, and proving your point, do not affect the truth of the matter. The truth will outlive every lie. “The lip of truth shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment” (Proverbs12:19)
d) Avoid the distraction of phone calls. You have to know how to handle your phone accordingly. Know when to use it (for important and profitable calls) and when to keep far from you.
e) Avoid the distraction of useless, aimless, and empty socializing. You are not supposed to be everywhere at every function. There are events you must not attend.
May you not be absent the day God wants to visit you because of a lack of focus. Remain steadfast, hold onto your revelations that you received from the Word, and don’t pursue after chaff.
MEDITATION: I am a divine project never to be abandoned.
PRAYERS:
1. Whatever is waiting for my downfall, fall and die, and let your altar collapse into hell in the name of Jesus.
2. Abba father, I am tired of working hard and reaping like an ant, change this pattern for me visit me again and do a new thing in my life which the mouth of the wicked cannot gain say in the name of Jesus.
