THE POWER OF EXODUS 2

THE POWER OF EXODUS 2

SATURDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER,2022

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper” (2 Kings 5:1)

The power of Exodus is the power that removes a “but” from your life.

It was the Lord who empowered Naaman to conquer nation and bring deliverance unto Syria but God did not do something about his leprosy because of pride. You could see his pride when he went to see the Prophet for healing. Naaman’s pride made God overlook his ailments.

Thank God for his servant who was there to force him into his deliverance. May the arrogance of life not rob you of God’s blessing. Naaman didn’t know the magnitude of his problem until he got to Israel where he was stopped at the gate.

A man highly celebrated in Syria was made to realize himself before the Prophet.

The power of Exodus is the power that turns messy and smelly conditions into an atmosphere with exciting fragrance.

Mark 5:25 talks about a certain woman, who had an issue of blood for twelve year. Today we are still talking about that encounter in a better dimension. Even if you don’t have faith, be humble.

Have a humble heart. God resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble. Her faith was not a strong one. If it were a strong faith, she would have declared it openly, but she negotiated in our hearts in case it didn’t work. If you lock up the mouth of your prophet, you will live without profits.

The same Ark that killed Uzziah brought Obededom an unprecedented blessing. May God turn around your captivity unconditionally.

MEDITATION: Jesus is the lifter of my head

PRAYER:

1. Lord, as Obededom, help me to accommodate the Ark that will yield an outstanding fulfillment in Jesus name

2. Lord if I have spoken against spiritual authority set over me, let your mercy prevail in Jesus name
