Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The spirit of deception has caused many believers to develop doctrine of the devil. It is responsible for people’s refusal to pay allegiance to the true word of God. Deception makes people to claim their right even when they are wrong. In the Pentecostal setting we seem to have more agent of Satan than real believers. Through deception the devil has found her way into the lives of many believers.

The spirit of deception if not properly checked swallows the love of God in a believers’ life, it reduces the faith
Through deception the serpent makes its victim to be foolish and stupid and act unadvisedly. It causes people to lose their identity, colour and speed.

It is a spirit that turns a glorious breakthrough to a generational breakdown, that can never be recovered.
Â
The word of God is the only antidote that delivers you from every spirit of deception. The word carries all round evidences that forces the promises of God into reality for your life.

MEDITATION: The word of God is the truth, the way and eternal life for me

PRAYERS:
1. I come against every ancestral covenant of deception in the name of Jesus.

2. By the power of the Holy Ghost I break every altar speaking against my heritage in Christ in the name of JESUS.
