WITNESSING FOR CHRIST
SUNDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2022
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts1:8)
For you to be able to witness for Christ, your lifestyle must conform with the character of Christ. You must be found on the word of faith, holiness, and purity. A soul winner must be bold and courageous as timidity and personal evangelism do not mix.
However, timidity can only be overcome by the help of the Holy Ghost as you willingly yield yourself to His dictates (Isaiah12:2)
Understand that the person you are scared of is equally scared of you, grow in the grace of God.
The fear of man, prayerlessness, secret sin, ignorance of the word of God, selfishness etc. are barriers to personal evangelism. Deal with them decisively at the place of prayer and by consistent studying and acting on the word of God.
May you receive grace to put the pursuit of life second and make soul winning your top priority daily.
MEDITATION: Holy Spirit make me a soul winner
PRAYER:
1 Holy Ghost, direct me to do your biddings in Jesus name
2 Oh lord, help me to remain fruitful in the kingdom in the name of Jesus
