TOPIC: WAKE UP
SATURDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2021
“Wherefore He saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light (Ephesians 5:14)
If anyone must achieve destiny in grand style; he must not live a civilian lifestyle, a civilian lifestyle is a kind of life that you do whatever you like at will without being accountable to anybody.
It is very important to wake up in order to overcome the works of darkness ( Eph.6:10-13, Rev.12:12)
The Lord ’s Day is at hand. His return is nearer than we can imagine. (2 Corinthians 6:1-2.)
Every day brings us closer to the return of the Messiah ( Rev. 6:15-17)
We are of little time here on earth (Psalm 90:9)
STEPS TO REMAINING AWAKE:
1. Make no provision for the flesh. (Romans 13:14)
2. Keep growing in grace and the fellowship of Christ. (2 Peter 1:5-8)
3. Develop Christ like Character: (Eph. 4:20-24)
4. Cast away all works of darkness. (Colossians 3:5-8)
5. Put on the whole amour of God: (Eph. 6:13-17)
MEDITATION:
The word of the Lord is my burning passion for spiritual alertness.
PRAYERS:
1. Oh God, let your hand touch me for an awakening in the mighty name of Jesus.
2. Oh Lord let revival locate me in the name of Jesus.
