THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6: 63)

The word that is not empowered or energized by the spirit of God is seen as mere words. The bible calls it letters. What letters do is to kill; so mere words are letters just like a, b, c,d,e….,

It is the spirit that quickeneth, it is the spirit that makes the difference, it is the spirit that makes impossibility become an undeniable possibility.

The flesh profits nothing. Flesh in this context refers to the carnal nature of man. An ordinary mind that is not surrounded by the word and the spirit of the Lord profits nothing because such a mind is unproductive. “The words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life”. Every dead or dying situation around you are brought to life in the name of Jesus Christ.

1 I refuse to depend on the letters void of the Spirit of God in Jesus name:

2 Oh God create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me that I may serve you better in Jesus mighty name.
