TOPIC: THE GARMENT OF GOD
And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. (LUKE 8:43-44)
The woman that touched the herm of Jesus’ garment didn’t just touch the physical cloth, but the very glory of God, the light of God that was brooding all over Jesus. Remember, when Jesus was baptized, the bible recorded that the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove but didn’t mention the return of that spirit, meaning the Holy Spirit is a garment because he was all over him and the bible says that Jesus was endowed with the full measure of the power of God.
The full measure means from head to toe.
This was the same glory that covered Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Meanwhile, they never knew they were naked until they committed sin. Even at that, God had to cover them with animal skin
The woman touched the garment of rapture that the righteous will wear when Christ comes on the day of resurrection, No wonder the dead cycle of the woman resurrected as well.
Whatever has died in your life, by reason of the garment of God upon your life, resurrection locates you on every side.
MEDITATION:
The spirit of the Lord is my garment of Glory.
PRAYERS:
1. I terminate every satanic handwriting that wants to destroy my garment of glory in the name of Jesus.
2. I dissociate myself from every evil friend planted to discourage me from fulfilling the will of God in the name of Jesus.
