TOPIC: DON’T BE DOMESTICATED
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Matt.3:1-4
Don’t allow any situation to domesticate you mentally, spiritually, financially, psychologically, and morally. Be raw in the Holy Ghost. Be wild in the spirit.
Marriage should not domesticate you. Why do you want to end yourself by choosing domestication? Do you know that you are the hope of this generation? Paul the Apostle was not ready to surrender to domestication despite the persecutions. Do not turn to domestication because of challenges. All eyes are looking at you. Even the one you claim is your enemy.
Don’t even allow lack of money to tell you to keep quiet, there are times you want to do something and money is not there, don’t sit down crying, develop yourself, learn skills, and buy books that pertain to your career and study. Keep pushing yourself. Now that no man has come yet to ask for your hand in marriage, read books on marriages. Know what God wants you to know.
By the time a lion is gotten from the jungle and put in the zoo, it is being fed with a rabbit that first five-month, until the lion forgets that he used to capture its prey alive and eat it. It will get to the point that he is given chicken with a stain of blood, rat, then cockroach, etc, the lion will eat forgetting that lions eat what they killed, later he will be given ice fish with less blood, then he will be given stew, which has red colour just like blood. All these are levels of domestication.
The greatest attack of the devil on children of God is to domesticate them and make them talk like ordinary men; render ordinary services and pray ordinary prayers. May God have mercy on you and help you to stand your ground.
MEDITATION:
I received grace to remain firm always despite any circumstance.
PRAYERS:
1. I command evil past events of inferiority complex manipulated to reoccur in my time to catch fire in the name of Jesus.
2. I come against every spirit of discouragement projecting reasons why I should be domesticated in the name of Jesus.
