TOPIC: DIVINE VISITATION 2
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (MARK 10:45)
Sometimes God doesn’t need our ability but availability. When we are available, He gives us His ability. The capacity for man to render assistance is limited. When the mercy of God begins to speak on your behalf, the chain of curses operational in your life stands broken irrespective of the nature of such curses.
The blind Batimus knew that there is no righteous family so he called Jesus beyond his surname, down to his origin and background. Every other person knew Jesus as the prophet, Jesus of Nazareth, but the blind mentioned David meaning that although he was a king, he was also a murderer, he made people know that even the earthly foundation of Jesus has some questions to answer because he knew that his blindness was not ordinary, but connected to his foundation. He called on Jesus for mercy.
If David who happens to be one of the forefathers of Jesus could kill a man, took the wife, and ran to God for mercy. God did not only grant him mercy but also went further to maintain his status as a man after God’s heart,, “Jesus doesn’t allow what you heard about me to harden your heart towards me and my visual condition.
There are people whose family traits such as pride may hinder them from receiving help. A family that everybody is proud of. Thank God for blind Batimus who demonstrated humility.
And Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. And they called the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. (MARK 10:49)
Today the mercy of God shall overlook your fault; the same people who tried to stop the blind man were the ones Jesus asked to call Blind Batimus for Him.
The same Lions designated to eat up Daniel turned around, held an emergency meeting, and decided to make themselves pillow for Daniel. (Dan.6)
Never should you think that your life will be swallowed up by what you are passing through.
MEDITATION:
God’s word contains direction for the visitation of my destiny.
PRAYERS:
1. I destroy every satanic road map misleading my feet in the mighty name of Jesus.
2. O’ Lord frustrate the desire of the wicked against my destiny in the name of Jesus.
